If during demolition work on site material is accidentally found that is suspected to contain asbestos, it is the task of the CSE (Construction Safety Coordinator) to order the immediate suspension of activities.
Once the nature of the material is known and if the presence of asbestos is confirmed, the Client/Project Manager must commission the removal to a specialized company which may intervene after the approval of the specific “work plan”, drawn up pursuant to art. 34 of Legislative Decree 277/91.
