Smaltimento e riciclo in ottica sostenibile: Valli Ambiente protagonista del volume gomma-plastica pubblicato da L’Eco di Bergamo

“A family business that has evolved and since the sixties has grown by renewing itself in the green field, developing on the national territory in compliance with the most specialized regulations and always respecting the environment”.

This is how Valli Gestioni Ambientali is described  in “Rubber-plastic. Design, environment, innovation”, the volume released by L’Eco di Bergamo, available on newsstands in recent weeks.

The book is the result of a project commissioned by the Bergamo newspaper to tell anecdotes, news and stories of some local companies operating in the rubber-plastic sector. Through this volume, the Eco di Bergamo wants to raise awareness of the manufacturing vocation of a territory, that of Bergamo, which has always been imbued with inventiveness and great desire to do.

57 years of experience at the service of companies

The pages dedicated to our company tell, on the one hand, the activity we carry out and, on the other, how Valli Gestioni Ambientali has grown from 1962, the year of its foundation, until today. Currently, in fact, there are many types of waste that we treat and dispose of  in  the two Gorlago plants: vulcanized rubber, mineral wool, end-of-life tires (ELTs), scrap metal, micro-collection of waste, bituminous sheaths, contaminated earth and rocks, construction waste, industrial waste, paper, plastic, WEEE, sludge, emulsions, asbestos and rubber.

“An activity that began as a simple activity of collecting recyclable materials has become increasingly articulated, and being very regulated, it requires an increasing administrative commitment on our part, both to keep up and above all to try to anticipate updates to the regulatory framework, guaranteeing operational and continuous assistance to customers,” comments Francesco Valli.

Focus on eco-sustainability

The waste recovery and disposal activity is carried out by our team of professionals while always maintaining a high focus on eco-sustainability, as Francesco Valli confirms: “We have made environmental sustainability the core business of the activities, as the greater the amount of waste sent for recovery, the greater the company margin. This is a competitive element for our company. We have therefore adopted the most rigorous technical solutions to ensure maximum environmental protection in carrying out waste recovery activities, through the prevention of possible contamination on the ground or in the groundwater, the purification of rainwater from our yards, the prevention of the spread of odors and the reduction of dust emissions into the atmosphere, the prevention of the risk of fire through the construction of a suitable detection and extinguishing system covering the entire facility.

In addition to paying attention to certifications and regulations in the sector, we are committed to the constant renewal of our vehicle fleet and we are building the new office building which will be characterized by high performance in terms of energy saving and energy production from renewable sources”.
