Silicone Expo Europe: an international reference point for the sector

On 25 February 2026 Valli Gestioni Ambientali took part in Silicone Expo Europe as a guest, one of the main international events dedicated to the silicone and silicone rubber sector, held from 24 to 26 February at RAI Amsterdam as part of Materials Week Europe. Silicone Expo Europe is one of the world’s leading trade fairs entirely dedicated to the silicone industry: a reference point where global exhibitors, active along the entire production and supply chain, interact directly with buyers and delegates from a wide range of application sectors.

Silicone Expo Europe represents one of the most significant international events for the silicone industry, bringing together major brands, innovators and professionals from a wide variety of industrial applications. This is an ideal context for developing concrete partnerships and collaborations, fostering the exchange of skills and the sharing of know-how. The conferences, led by industry experts, delve into the latest technological developments, emerging innovations and future scenarios in the silicone materials sector. Though hands-on demonstrations, attendees have the opportunity to explore the latest applications of silicone and silicone rubber, thanks to solutions presented by the most innovative manufacturers.

Silicone rubber: a strategic material for modern industry

Silicone rubber is today one of the most performing and versatile materials, thanks to a set of unique properties, including flexibility, resistance to humidity and chemicals, stability at extreme temperatures, durability even under UV exposure, and great ease of use in a wide range of processes and applications, with uses ranging from medical to automotive. It is a material that continues to open up new possibilities and that requires, today more than ever, responsible and circular management solutions.

The mission of Valli Gestioni Ambientali

Participation in the event represented an important opportunity for Valli Gestioni Ambientali to promote its recycling process to End of Waste for pre-consumer silicone rubber waste.

A process developed to enhance the recovery of production waste, offer manufacturing companies a concrete and sustainable alternative to traditional solutions, and accelerate the transition to truly circular models in the silicone rubber industry.

The End of Waste of silicone rubber represents an important opportunity to promote a more responsible management of production waste; a path in which Valli Gestioni Ambientali’s commitment aims to give new life to a material with extraordinary potential, while promoting a more suistainable and circular vision in the production of silicone rubber.

Looking to the future

Returning from Amsterdam, we bring with us new ideas and perspectives. Discussions with main players in the sector confirmed that suistainability, circularity and innovation will continue to represent the pillars of the technological development of silicone rubber in the coming years.

For Valli Gestioni Ambientali, participation in Silicone Expo Europe marks a further step on the path towards increasingly responsible management of materials and resources. We will continue to invest in sustainable solutions, recycling technologies, material valorisation and industrial innovation, to actively contribute to building a more circular and efficient future.
